︎Guest Lead Artist Facilitator, Installation
︎ Toronto, ON
︎ January 2016

This community-engaged project was developed for AGO Family Sundays in January 2016 as a playful, hands-on art-making experience designed for children, caregivers, and families to create together. The project invited participants to contribute to a shared environment by decorating a giant cardboard gingerbread house and creating whimsical paper plants.

Inspired by the AGO’s exhibitions and collections, the project emphasized imagination, collaboration, and process-based making. Using accessible materials such as cardboard and paper, families were encouraged to experiment freely with colour, texture, and form while contributing to a collective installation. The evolving space became a site of shared authorship, where each participant’s creative gesture added to a growing, playful landscape.

My practice centers on community care, accessibility, and joyful learning through art. This project reflected those values by prioritizing intergenerational participation and creative exploration without pressure or expectation. By transforming the gallery space into an inviting environment for play and collaboration, the project offered families an opportunity to connect, create, and experience art as a shared and welcoming activity.
